UEMV- A caller in the 2400 Block of NW Green Cir reported an unknown person broke the rear passenger window of their vehicle and stolen various items. The male stated he would continue to not appear on his criminal charges because he knew he would never be booked at the jail, and he did not want to face the charges. DUII A 20 year-old-male, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation at NW Kings Blvd and NW Polk Ave. Officers located the female at her residence, and she was unable to give a detailed description of the male, but did say he left in a vehicle that stopped in the road and picked him up. The victim reported seeing the suspect on their propertyafter being served with a restraining order. The male was identified as a 38-year-old with no fixed address, and it was learned that he had been previously trespassed from the location. Hit and Run/Warrant Arrest/Trespassing - A male with no fixed address reported he was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a business located in 400 block of SW 3rd St. The officers removed her from the store and served her with trespass papers, at which time she promptly returned into the store while the officers were still on the scene. After providing the breath sample, the suspect acted as if he was going to punch the officer. He punched a nurse who was attempting to provide treatment. Warrant Arrest An officer contacted a 38 year old female from Corvallis in the 300 block of NW 11th St. Warrant Arrest An officer was dispatched for a welfare check in the 1500 block of NW 9th St. A 43 year old female from Corvallis was contacted and she had a warrant for her arrest out of the Albany Municipal Court. Warrant Arrest A 47-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation at Hwy 34 and Peoria Rd. He provided a breath sample with a BAC result of .11. Theft II Officers responded to a report of a theft of a paper cutter valued at over $300. The female claimed she had ingested three blue M30 pills just prior to police contact. The male was known to officers and had a confirmed warrant for his arrest out of Albany Municipal Court. It was determined the calls were a hoax, and the suspect was not identified. Officers discovered a door dasher was inside a restaurant trying to grab an order. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrants. The female was unlawfully entering a trash container. Items of evidentiary value were seized from the vehicle to be submitted to the crime lab. Officers discovered a 42-year-old female suspect, with no fixed address, walked into a restaurant nearby. The suspect fled before officers arrived. The male was the subject of multiple Failure to Appear warrants through Benton County Circuit Court, and was arrested. Officers discovered the 62 year old male operator, Corvallis Resident, was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Linn County Jail. Shoplift Employees of a store in the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd reported a woman walked out of the store without paying for all of the items she selected from the store. Theft of Services / Criminal Mischief Employees of a hotel in the 900 block of NW Garfield Ave reported a patron did not pay for one of the nights of their stay, and damaged several items in the room before fleeing out the window. The ambulance had been driving Code 3 (lights/siren) when another vehicle suddenly changed lanes, striking the passenger side rear fender of the ambulance. Over $1,000 in payments had been sent to collections companies in reference to this activity. The reporting person waited 20 minutes to report the crime and the suspects could not be located in the area. Warrant Arrest An officer responded to the 400 block of SW Monroe Ave, for a 34-year-old male, with no fixed address, who was reporting complications from smoking Fentanyl. Officers located a 31 y/o male and a 28 y/o male, both with no fixed address, inside the apartment. The male had been arrested the previous night for calling 911 and making sexual requests. Shoplift- a convenience store employee in the 1400 block NW Monroe Avenue reported a theft of property from the store. The suspect also had multiple warrants for his arrest. The suspect stole some items from the vehicle before he ran away. Officers contacted a 56-year-old male with no fixed address inside the business, which was closed, and located video evidence that the male was in fact masturbating. The caller reported hearing multiple sets of footsteps and his girlfriend telling someone to stop or go away while he was speaking with her on the phone. Warrant Arrest Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of NW Hayes Avenue for the report of a possible prowler. Trespass Officers responded to the Library at the request of library staff to trespass an individual. The male was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants and he was issued a trespass notice. He was arrested and booked into Benton County Jail by OSP Troopers. Through the investigation, it was determined the male had actually strangled the mothers friend during an argument that took place prior to call and the male broke a television inside the residence when he broke in. Disorderly Conduct Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of SW Washington Avenue for the report of a 60 year old male, with no fixed address, who was reported to be in the middle of the street, tossing a knife around, and impeding traffic. Warrant Arrest Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of NW 23rd Street for the report of a 42 year old female, Corvallis Resident, who broke into an apartment she used to live in. When officers arrived they located no one inside but noted extensive damage to the door and door frame and could tell force entry was made. The officer knew the male was trespassed from that location and detained the male. The suspect was issued a citation for Violent Conduct and a Special Response Notice through Corvallis Municipal Court. A DRE conducted a drug influence evaluation and determined the drive was not impaired by a controlled substance. The female also vandalized a vehicle parked at the residence.
